Episode 21 Shark Tank

In this week's episode Carrie's back in charge and we're drinking two store picks and a blind super-secret double probation bourbon.  We start off with the Cork N Bottle Weller Antique 107 blend then move on to a Total Wine 1792 Full Proof (125) and finish off with a blind sample of bonus juice brought by Chad.  While sipping we talk about the Amsterdam jewelry heist that's right out of Hollywood, stealing sharks out of the tank, 3D printed guns, assault gators (come on Florida), "flying boats", and John's favorite topic Hall of Fame Coach Richard Andrew Pitino.  As always thanks for listening Cheers!!!

Episode 20 Barrel Pickin

In this week's episode Chad regales us with tales of barrel pickin at Wild Turkey and Carrie and Rob rehash their road trip in search of some Weller Antique and Makers Private Select.  While there's a lot of bourbon talk we manage to sneak in a few topics including the "Open", National Whatever Days, the Mandela Effect, Jaguars on the loose, Shark Week, and the Power Ranger that got away as we sip on some Old Fitzgerald Bottle in Bond and two different strains of Four Roses Single Barrel OBSV and OBSK and we all leave with some BABO coasters compliments of Ben.  As always thanks for listening and Cheers!!!

Episode 19 Once You Go Bourbon You Don't Go Back

In this week's episode we pass the Mic to Shawn, but before that we get into a Blanton's that was bottled in 2000, Ancient Ancient Age 10 star and Woodford Malt Whiskey, all of which have some unique and differnt flavor profiles.  We discuss the merits of being let out of jail early for stealing Pappy and give an update on the Old Barton collapsed Rick House.  Shawn takes  us on a journey of a variety of different topics including fireworks, World Cup, Paul Finebaum going to the Big Ten Network and applying Relegation to College and professional sports in the United States. Carrie gets her drink on in this one and proves once again why you shouldn't try and record two alcohol based podcasts in one day.  

Episode 18 Bougie Carp

In this episode we pass the mic to John for some epic topic disscussion.  We're drinking Trader Joes and Two Stars, both of which are from Barton 1792 distillery, which is appropriate because we talk the collapse of one of their Rickhouses and the effect that it will have on their bourbon.  John takes over and we talked about standing in line for bourbon, why Elon Musk is Willy Wonka, whether or not it's still wise to buy items through ebay, why flushing the toilet should be a madatory thing, whether or not you should use DNA testing for evil, what a Carp Calendar is and we also recap some World Cup.  We probably talked about some other stuff too, but ya know bourbon will make ya forget.  

Episode 17 Corn Squeezins

In this epsiode Chad joins us via phone from Florida and Rob's cousin Michael joins us in studio.  Back in Lexington we're drinking Corn Mellow Whiskey from Heaven Hill, you'll have to listen to get our opinion on it, but let's just say we drank the whole bottle.  We talk driving around looking for bourbon vs standing in line for a bourbon lottery and debate the merits of Kentucky's new bourbon shipping law.  Of course we get into some nonsense, including, deodorant made from whiskey aptly named pit liquor, organic material being found on Mars, whether or not oceans are the real final frontier, Russian soccer hooligans, and we revisit Alligators/Crocs vs Volcanos.  Our descriptions never do the episodes justice, so you're just gonna hafta listen.

Episode 16 The Rye Show II Electric Boogaloo

In this episode we continue to pass the mike and Rob takes over over only to stumble though the show. We drink some Willett 4 Year Family Estate Straight Rye Whiskey, Rittenhouse Rye Whiskey Bottle In Bond, and Knob Creek Cask Strength Rye (hint their all good). All while discussing the finer points of Gold Dusted foods, Cheese Lawsuits, the myth of the Flying Car and people who just won move out of your house.  We also touch on self-driving cars, political nicknames and John not having a favorite superhero.  As always thanks for listen and we hope you enjoy. Episode 15 Chad and the Adventures of “Craft Bourbon”

In this episode Chad takes over the airwaves and  we sample OCD # 5 Kentucky Straight Bourbon and Wilderness Trail Singe Barrel Straight Bourbon. We also talk about meeting John Foster from Smooth Abler and Jenny Drake from Southern Glazers at a bourbon tasting at a local Cigar Bar and we get back to our regular nonsense!  Topics include our all-time favorite beer and bourbon, The NJ Mystery Pooper, Glitter Bombs #HerpesOfThe CraftWorld, Sex Cults (looking at you Superman), Best Westerns movies, and online shopping while drunk.         

Episode 14 Bourbon School

If you have ever wanted to learn about bourbon then this is the episode for you!  In this episode we welcome Ed Bley aka the nicest guy in whiskey to talk all things bourbon.  Ed does bourbon picks for Cork -n-Bottle in Northern Kentucky and his knowledge of bourbon really is unprecidented.  We were able to sample some of his picks on this episode and wow were they spectacular.  We do get into some nonsense in this one, but it's mostly Ed droppin the bourbon knowledge on us.  School's in session, so bring the bourbon and get ready to do some learnin'.

Episode 13 Don't Send Dic* Pics

In this episode Rob hooks us up with some Evan Williams 12 year and Evan Williams Bottled in Bond and Chad brings the bonus bourbon.  We discuss the merits of going into Keeneland vs Tailgaiting, talk about whether or not the Pope sold his 23 yr bottle of Pappy to pay for a new church van, revisit the facebook meltdown, have a heated discussion about Taylor Swift's unfortuante cover of Earth, Wind and Fire's Septmeber and finally play a fun round of Drink It or Drain It.  Carrie reiterates her authority as BABO showrunner and you have to listen to Chad's outtake at the end! 

Episode 12 Easter Bourbon

In this episode we drink some Very Old Barton and some Mark's Mark Barrel Select.  We talk about a lot of bourbon topics, recap Rocket Man's flight, discuss if we are going to delete our Facebook accounts, and John goes on an epic rant agains Bill Self ad his toupee.  If you want to know why someone would marry a tree or whre the best bathroom's in NYC are you're just gonna hafta listen.
