Episode 11 A Litany of Weddings

The gang's all here for this episode.  We drink and review Heaven Hill's 6 year and Old Charter 8.  We discuss why anyone would get married on a Sunday and fall down a wedding rabbit hole.  We climb back out of that hole with a couple of topics including bourboun merchandise and decantor collecting, why people in public office continue to have affairs, weather or not you need to be financially independent to completely go off the grid and of course we have a lot to say about the NCAA tournament, including what constitutes a Cinderella.  Grab a glass and have a listen.  

Episode 10 Two Face Bourbon

In this epidsode Chad is out, but Kyle is in the fifth chair.  We are drinking some Jefferson's Chef Collaboration.  We talk why bourbon is so expensive in resturants, we congragulate Rob on his Kentucky Colonel status, John apologizes for hating on USA curling, we cross our fingers for Tim and his new boat adventure, we find out what the hell Snape Wives are, we discuss what the hell is wrong with the NCAA and John goes on an epic rant about the Louisville banner coming down.  

Episode 9 Stop Looking at me Tim

In this episode we talk about the pros and cons of opening a high end bourbon store and whether or not Justin Timberlake really doesn't know that Blanton's doesn't come from Montana.  We also discuss Disney gangs, why you should probably learn to sail before you buy a boat and a whole lot more!  

Episode 8 You Do You

In this epidsoe we drink some Chicken Cock.  Topics include trips to NOLA, why you shouldn't touch beards whithout asking, bourbon and Girl Scout cookie pairings, the Transylvania Audobon hiest, the monteziation of social media, why you should watch Thursday night dart leagues and more!

Episode 7 It's the Rye Show!

In this episode we welcome Chad back as our first repeat guest to discuss all things Rye.  We talk about what a Rye is, what's the differnce between a Rye and bourbon and of course we sample several examples.  We also discuss what celebrity we would want for president, try to figure out what exactaly Bitcoin is and why anyone would want to eat laundry detergent.  We get into some sports topics too.  There's a lot going on in this epsidoe, you'll defintely want to listen till the end to see how lit Carrie actually gets.

Episode 6 Pump Your Own Raw Water

We survived Christmas and the amateur hour that is New Year's Eve.  In this episode we marvel at the fact that people in Oregon have lost their minds having the ability to pump their own gas, discuss the merits of raw water, and give our opinions, good, bad or otherwise on UCF being left out of the playoff and what needs to be done to fix the CFP system.  We also tell some other interesting stories about NYE in Times Square and crashing a retirement party, you'll just have to listen if you want to know about those.  

Episode 5: Bourbon Festivus

In this episode we welcome bourbon collector/guru Chad to the fifth seat.  We drink a bourbon that John didn't think existed in reality.  We discuss best, worst, what we wish we we would have gotten for Christmas.  We also discuss the 25th anniversary of Dr. Dre's The Chronic, talk about the merits of UFO's, weather or not Lavar Ball's league will succeed, the fact that the NFL has no idea what it's doing and more!  Get the pole out of the crawl space, air the greivances and give a listen!

Episode 4: Bonded in Bottle

In this episode we talk about what bourbons you should buy for Christmas presents, if you buy a bottle of Pappy should you turn it into jello shots, why restaurnts are closing in Lexington, why Eric C. Conn couldn't google non extradition countries and our opnion, good, bad or otherwise on the CFB playoff committee.  

Episode 3 Not Everything is Bigger in Texas

In this episode we're drinkin' Bulleit Bourbon Barrel Strength, we welcome Matt to the 5th chair to talk about some interesting things he is doing with The Men in Blazers.  We discuss the Tennessee fan base melt down over Greg Schiano, we talk the Mrs. Universe Pagent, whether or not building your own rocket to prove that the earth is flat is a good idea and why in the world would a 70 year old man send nudes to anyone.  As always what we're thinkin' is better than what were drinkin'!

In the second episode of Bourbon and Bad Opinions we drink non Kentucky Bourbon, give our opinons on the fact that Christmas is too soon, talk Thanksgiving food that we dislike, find out which member of BABO hates the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving special, talk about why the Thanksgiving Day Parade is terrible, find out why Carrie and Rob like the McRib and discuss can Twitter survive with 280 characters.  Lots of laughs in this episode and as always, what we're drinkin' is better than what we're thinkin'
